By using spray paint to produce my paintings I am able to work in a very spontaneous way. This is also made possible by working directly onto the canvas without too many preconceived ideas as to how the final image will look. Although the paintings are abstract, they often present the viewer with some recognisable elements of the original source material. I frequently use natural forms and objects as visual references when making the paintings. This is reflected in the organic and ambiguous nature of the work and in the colours and shapes within it.

Recent exhibitions have been at Atlantis Gallery, London 2003 Local Hero Records, Canterbury 2005 Iota Gallery, Ramsgate 2005 .
