I live and work in Whitstable and studied Fine Art at the Kent Institute of Art and Design.

My paintings reflect a life spent by and on the sea and marshland of the North Kent coast, although this year I travelled to warmer climates and experimented with a fresh palette which invigorated my work.

I prefer to work on wood with a palette knife. Wood is robust and travels well and provides a rough texture which suits my purposes.
