Frits Govaert has been an artist in Holland for many years and married to his wife who is a teacher, he became interested in children's drawings which have a inherent naivety, he tried to work in a similar style but found that the finished works never capture the freedom of a child's drawing. He thought of combining the child's work with his skill and creativity to make sculptures of the children's drawings.

His work has captured the imagination of parents and schools in Holland and has had many commissions. He cuts out the steel and welds it to create the nearest possible copy of the childs work. He can leave the work natural or paint it with paint so that the work can be placed outdoors and they can be made to free stand or be attached to a wall which fits any patio or small garden.

Sizes range from 60-70cm. to 2 meters and prices range from £550 to £1300 depending on the size and finish. Commissions welcome and the artists will make the sculpture in 6-8 weeks
