Ron Raybould

As a 16-year-old I started my photographic career as an assistant to Dennis De Marney, a famous theatrical photographer at the time. This involved travelling around the country photographing shows and studio work. I gained further experience working in Fleet Street as a fashion photographer’s assistant, where my knowledge of photography and dark room work increased. Later my career changed completely. I became a business man in an entirely different field until I retired at 65 years of age, although I still maintained my interest in photography and became an active member of several photographic clubs and associations. I have won several local and regional competitions throughout my time. I have also been able to exhibit some of my work at galleries in the Kent area.
