“My paintings are an emotional response to memory, reminding me of people and places, of times spent with friends and family, chatting over a cup of tea or coffee. The cup taking on a symbolic personal statement each having its own personality and narrative. The pleasure and joy is in the mark making the layering and application of paint. The construction of the forms areintuitive and not contrived, flowing as if in conversation.”

Collections of Anjis work have been commisioned for hotels in Dublin and London.
